The existing home was a modest structure on a constrained lot in a flood plan. The clients wanted the addition to be open to their intensely cultivated landscape. The new primary bedroom suite faces north but twists to capture the views and sunlight. The first floor of the home also required extensive renovations to repair flood damage.
